    Hi Al! I suggest that a you work on the sense of depth in the landscape, especially with the chroma and saturation of the most distant object. maybe refrain from using the black liner on the farthest objects as well. Is that the kind of input you are looking for?

    Woah, the color usage in this piece is really good, as someone who struggles with color this looks kinda magical haha.

I WOULD LIKE HELP WITH

I'm trying to move away from my usual style toward something a bit more abstract. Here are three recent small paintings that I've produced somewhat in the style of Richard Powers, who in turn was influenced by Yves Tanguy among others. Another influence on me is Jean Dubuffet. I'd like to explore other Surrealist techniques.
