EASEL OF Alex Green

Alright, based on feedback I've punched up the values, increased the intensity of the backlight glow, and fixed a wonky foot.

Much more dramatic! I like it!

That foot is a thing of beauty.

I notice that when attempting that same gesture with my own hand, my little finger doesn’t like to hold itself straight. Instead, it’s a bit bent. I wonder if that adjustment might give this mage’s hand a little more life?

Might just be me, with my hands tuning crone-like at the ripe age of 31. 🙂

Not sure if it’s cool to leave crits from another table, but I’m over at the portrait table and liked your image. 🙂 Personally, I think this is strong, but could definitely use some punches of darker values. I think it would add a lot of drama if you choose either the figure or the background to go a lot darker.

I’m also at a different table, returning a crit. Hope this is okay guys?

There’s not much to go on with this yet so I’ll just wait a little to see where you go with it. Good luck 🙂

I’m on Table 16 (C’mon by) and figure that since you’re allowed to drop comments at other tables it must be fine to do. I agree with Abbi that the values could be pushed further. And I would like to see just a bit more of what’s happening with the face, (which value could help reveal.)
