Hi Dmitry, I have no doubt that your clients are very happy with your work. If i were to suggest anything it would be to look at color temperature in your flesh tones, to add a little more realism. But as accomplished as you are, I hope you will get around and offer grits for others to benefit from. I am on Table 16.

And now that I’ve looked at your website, I know you know about color temperature 🙂

I think this one might be my favorite of the three images you have up — I really like the contrast/values and I think the movement of the dog is nicely executed, as well as his armor! I think if I /had/ to nitpick, I would maybe say to make the water the dog is comprised of a little more obvious texture/translucency-wise. (It feels very solid and blue at the moment, even in the droplets flying off the dog where the water might be a little thinner and more see-through.) But that would be me forcing myself to find something to improve on because I think the image works very well overall.

    Nicely done!

Hey Dmitry, your work is great. I really like the rendering, the lights and colors!
What makes you don’t like how these pieces turned out?
I like this piece a lot and have very little to critique, but I want to help you as I can!
This pose is very difficult, you did an amazing job! But, I’d tell you to take a photo of yourself as reference every time you have such a difficult pose.
I say this cause, in this piece, the character could have a bit of foreshortening, the right hand looks like a little small thinking that is a bit closer to us than the rest of the body.
    Hope it helps!

Hey Gabriela! Thank you very much) Yes, you’re right, I should make the foreshortening much more obvious here) And her hand is the main thing I don’t like actually) Was so lazy on it)) Thank you very much for your crit)

Another very well-done piece! The composition is really nice.

I feel like I want to focus more on the foreground action/magic in this one and that maybe the background is a smidge on the bright-side value-wise. The warm background colors pop nicely against the cooler foreground colors, but I almost feel like they’re stealing some of the drama from the magic going on in front/around the figure. I’m not sure whether I’d suggest darkening the background or making the magic in the foreground more prominent — it would depend on the mood you wanted to go for and what the main focus of the image should be, I suppose.

Design-wise, I like all the detailing on the character’s outfit. The little touches you have are really nice! (This is something I need to improve on myself, so I’m just dropping some admiration.) Good job!
