An experienced designer would be the one to confirm or deny my observation, but it seems to me that you are filling the canvas (and very nicely) in a way that leaves little room for titles and text. Otherwise, I do like this imagery very much, the bearded male face coupled with doves and flowers is very evocative and attention grabbing.

I want to die, this is so beautiful. Love the strong lighting and the way you darkened the space around the profile to make it read more clearly. I wish I had some constructive crit, but I don’t at the moment.

(PS I hope it’s OK to drop a note even though I’m over at the Portraiture table.)

I WOULD LIKE HELP WITH

I am building my portfolio with a focus on book covers (and interiors) and perhaps editorial illustrations. I've pared down my current work to just a few pieces as I develop more and would like to have comment on how well my art fits this field, as well as quality of the work.
