You use the brush textures too much.A good technique to look up that would help is the tiling method. There are some good videos online to explain what thta method is in detail.

Try adding more detail in some areas in the midground, sort of like what you did the the foreground. For example painting in a couple of more detailed tree shapes could add more meaning to the brush stroke forested area. You’re trying to imply a lot of information with big brush strokes, but with no point of reference some of them loose a lot of meaning. Try focusing on the hard edges between layers in the landscape. Those edges can show a lot of information at a glance and you don’t have much information there to show. I marked up a few places where you could get a lot of mileage out of a little more detail. (More detail towards the foreground and less as you move back)

I WOULD LIKE HELP WITH

I included my latest sketch. I'm looking for some general feedback. Since last week I'm using the Pattern Stamp tool to change my workflow because lately I'm feeling that I'm creating more or less the same images. Any thoughts on how I can take my images to the next level? I have the feeling I'm lacking a lot of storytelling skills.
Thank you in advance
