I WOULD LIKE HELP WITH
I need help managing an eye-pleasing flow of the birds, and help with the lighting in the cave. The birds glow from within, so they're the light source, yet, I don't want the cave to be too much the same color as the birds... it's a knotty problem (for me! I'm hoping the solution is crystal clear to you! :) (WIP obviously-- you can see crop marks where I was fiddling with the size of that front bird, LOL!)
Looking for a nice balance of warm and cool colors, a nice focal bird with a flow of subordinate birds around it, and a cave that looks convincingly like a cave with some glowing birds in it! Thank you!!!
It’s a lovely image. I do think the values needs to be pushed a bit more though. Try darkening the foreground a bit more.
Also some overlapping to cut some of the big shape around the bird
Thank you SO MUCH!!! I was trying to get that “S” but it just was not happening for me– your drawing the negative space out like that really helps me see where my blind spots are!
Also, thanks for the foreground advice. I kept going back and forth on how dark was *too* dark– it’s nice to know I can go ahead and push it even more!!
I really appreciate your help on this! <3
